Govt proposes panel to find out cost components of house prices.

ISKANDAR PUTERI: i2M Ventures Sdn Bhd (i2M), a wholly-owned subsidiary of Khazanah Nasional Bhd, has signed a strategic partnership with Mah Sing Group Bhd to provide accommodation to companies operating in Medini Iskandar, Johor.

The agreement was signed by i2M managing director Zulfiqar Zainuddin and Mah Sing chief executive officer Datuk Ho Hon Sang and witnessed by Johor State executive council member for consumerism, human resources and unity Dr S. Ramakrishnan.

Ho said the pact would see Mah Sing provide fully-furnished suites at the Iskandar Professional Suites at Meridin@Medini to the staff of companies registered and operating under the GBS Iskandar initiative managed by i2M.

“For the first phase, Mah Sing will provide 50 units, from an eventual total of 180 units, specially prepared for this collaboration whereby companies can rent at a rate of RM800 a month for a year,” he said after the signing ceremony.

Ho said registration for the rental units began in June and a take-up rate of 80% had been achieved.

Zulfiqar said he welcomed the pact with Mah Sing as the accommodations provided in Iskandar Professional Suites and also the surrounding amenities would be a good fit for working professionals.

“Currently, there are 18 companies operating under the GBS Iskandar initiative including Frost and Sullivan, Court Asia, KPMG, Aegis, DayThree and Brandt International,” he added. — Bernama
