Petronas’ PIC project gets Sirim ISO certifications


KUALA LUMPUR: Petronas Refinery and Petrochemical Corp Sdn Bhd (PRPC) recently received four International Standard Organisation (ISO) certifications from Sirim QAS International, for meeting internationally-recognised standards in executing the Pengerang Integrated Complex (PIC) project.

The certifications are ISO 18788:2015, which sets out a global business and risk management framework for the management of security operations; ISO 29993:2017 for the conformity to interactive oil, gas and petrochemical training programmes, as well as ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018, which emphasise compliance in health, safety and environment (HSE) management and supervision.
