APFT shareholder seeks legal action to stop AGM


The group told Bursa Malaysia that it had filed a writ and statement of claim against Faruk(file pic) for, among other things, the alleged misappropriation of funds of the company, causing it to trigger the Practice Note 17 classification, and a breach of the Main Market listing requirements.

PETALING JAYA: A shareholder of APFT Bhd has sought court action to stop the company from holding its annual general meeting (AGM) slated for today.

The loss-making flight training school operator said in its Bursa Malaysia announcement that it was served with an originating summons and notice of application from Hisham Mustaffa to seek an injunction to stop the AGM.
