Firm results for I-Bhd with unbilled sales at RM305.4m

KUALA LUMPUR: I-Bhd posted a set of firm financial results in the second quarter ended June 30, 2018, with net profit at an encouraging RM22.32mil and unbilled sales at RM305.4mil amid the challenging property market and economy.

It announced on Tuesday its net profit rose 5.6% to RM22.32mil from RM21.12mil. Its revenue was RM107.16mil compared with RM131.94mil. Earnings per share were 2.1 sen compared with 1.99 sen.

“In terms of segment performance, property development remains the largest revenue contributor for Q2 2018 with RM244.0mil being recorded, or 91.6% of the group’s total, while the leisure segment chipped in with RM17.9mil in revenue, or 6.7% of group revenue,” it said. 

In the first half, its net profit rose 11.1% to RM46.80mil from RM42.12mil in the previous corresponding period. Its revenue increased by 10.9% to RM266.61mil from RM240.39mil.
