Hiap Teck edges higher as Eastern Steel resumes operation


KUALA LUMPUR: Hiap Teck Venture Bhd rose on Wednesday as its blast furnace at Eastern Steel Sdn Bhd has resumed production.

The steel pipe maker rose 7.69%, or 2.5 sen to 35 sen with 4.8 million shares done while Hiaptek-WB surged 20.83% to 14.5 sen.
