EWI in talks with global pension funds

LONDON: EcoWorld International Bhd (EWI) is in talks with global pension funds and insurance companies for the sale of some of its projects in the United Kingdom, as it delivers the Amelia Building in London City Island six months ahead of schedule.

Speaking at the opening ceremony of the 17-storey residential Amelia Building, EWI president and CEO Datuk Teow Leong Seng said the build-to-rent units would not be sold to individuals, but to pension funds and insurance companies seeking yield.
