KUALA LUMPUR: Short-term interbank rates closed stable yesterday on Bank Negara’s operations to absorb excess liquidity from the financial system.
The surplus in the conventional system eased to RM38.28bil from RM44.7bil earlier, while in the Islamic system, it fell to RM14.12bil from RM13.71bil previously.
