PETALING JAYA: The move for foreign insurers to pare down their stakes to 70% in their wholly owned local units is still ongoing pending further announcements, say industry sources.
Industry sources told StarBiz that Bank Negara would still implement its directive for foreign insurers to reduce their stakes to increase local participation in the insurance sector.
