PETALING JAYA: The sales and services tax (SST) model should provide clear definitions and adequate guidance to businesses to ease the implementation of the indirect tax regime, said Crowe Malaysia director for tax Yee Chun Lin.

Speaking to StarBiz after a talk on “Weathering the Storm of Uncertainties in Goods and Services Tax (GST) and SST” at Menara Star yesterday, Yee said the new SST model should address the loopholes found in the previous SST system, which existed prior to the introduction of GST.
