Astro share price soars on privatisation potential


KUALA LUMPUR: Astro Malaysia Holdings Bhd’s share price jumped in early trade Wednesday after it was reported that its owned T. Ananda Krishnan is mulling to take the company private.

The pay-TV operator rose 10.63%, or 15 sen to RM1.75 with 4.57 million shares traded.
