KUALA LUMPUR: Kumpulan Perangsang Selangor Bhd’s net profit for the first quarter ended March 31declined to RM13.21mil from RM20.21mil in the same period last year.
Revenue, however, rose 24.7% to RM95.84mil from RM76.76mil previously. The company in a filing with Bursa Malaysia said that the higher revenue was led by higher contribution of RM44mil from cement packaging provider CENTURY BOND BHD (CBB) from RM39.6mil a year ago.
“CBB also made up majority of the group´s first quarter revenue with 45.9% contribution, followed by the group’s trading business of Aqua-Flo Sdn Bhd, which rake in 4.3% higher sales to RM26.3mil, making up 27.4% of the group’s revenue contribution,” it said. –Bernama
