Order to suspend HSR negotiations


The appointment letter, as noted in a Bursa Malaysia filing by YTL, has set out the terms and conditions for the appointment of YTL THP JV Sdn Bhd to undertake civil infrastructure works in the southern portion of the HSR

PETALING JAYA: Malaysian Resources Corp Bhd (MRCB) and Gamuda Bhd, the consortium that was tasked to handle the civil works of the scrapped Kuala Lumpur-Singapore High-Speed Rail (HSR) job, have been instructed to suspend all negotiations relating to the project.

In separate statements to Bursa Malaysia yesterday, the companies said they had received a letter informing them of the suspension from MyHSR Corp Sdn Bhd – the firm responsible for the development and implementation of the HSR.
