KKB Engineering secures contract for Mubadala project

KUALA LUMPUR: KKB Engineering Bhd's subsidiary OceanMight Sdn Bhd has accepted a contract from Sapura Fabrications Sdn Bhd to construct the  wellhead deck, piles and conductors.

It said on Tuesday the letter of award was part of the Sapura Fabrications' engineering, procurement, construction, installation and commissioning (EPCIC) for the Pegaga development project (Mubadala Petroleum) in Block SK320, offshore waters of Sarawak. 

KKB Engineering said the sub-contract started in April. It expected the award to contribute positively to the earnings and net assets of the group for the financial years ending Dec 31, 2018 to 2019.
