Heineken Malaysia Q1 revenue increases to RM434mil


PETALING JAYA: Heineken Malaysia Bhd has reported a double digit top-line growth for its first quarter ended March 31, 2018 (Q1 FY18), on the back of a successful festive season campaign which resulted in higher market share.

The brewer said in a statement that revenue for the quarter increased by 11% to RM434mil from RM393mil in the same quarter in 2017, whilst its net profit was maintained at RM49mil compared with the similar period last year. Its profit before tax for the period under review was flat at RM64mil. Earnings per share for Q1 FY18 stood at 16.14 sen against 16.21 sen in the similar period last year.
