PETALING JAYA: The industrial production index (IPI) increased by 3.1% in March compared with the same month in the previous corresponding period, supported by growth in the manufacturing and electricity indices by 4.1% and 4.4%.
According to data from the Department of Statistics released yesterday, the Mining Index recorded zero growth in March 2018 compared to the same period a year earlier.
