QSR Brands to raise RM2b from IPO slated for November


PETALING JAYA: QSR Brands (M) Holdings Bhd plans to raise about RM2bil from its initial public offering (IPO) on Bursa Malaysia, which is slated by November this year.

Johor Corporation Group (JCorp) president and chief executive Datuk Kamaruzzaman Abu Kassim said on Wednesday the group intends to list both the upstream and downstream businesses of QSR.

“QSR will have an estimated market cap value of RM6bil upon listing.

“We have not decided on the details, but we intend to raise an estimated RM2bil from the IPO,” he said at JCorp’s media briefing.

For the financial year ended Dec 31, 2017 QSR recorded a revenue of RM4.56bil.

QSR has a network of restaurants throughout Asean with 1,268 Pizza Hut and KFC outlets in Singapore, Cambodia, and Brunei.
