Strong demand for inspection systems lifts Vitrox earnings

Meanwhile, a strengthening ringgit against the US dollar poses downside earnings risk to net US dollar exporters such as Vitrox.

KUALA LUMPUR:  Vitrox Corp Bhd, a maker of test equipment for the semiconductor industry, says strong demand for automated board inspection (ABI) machines boosted its earnings in the first quarter ended March 31.

Net profit rose 9% to RM20.26mil, on the back of a 11% jump in revenue to RM77.3mil.
