Yong Tai, KOF Holdings, RISDA in RM200m Impression U-Thant project

KUALA LUMPUR: Yong Tai Bhd has teamed up with KOF Holdings Sdn Bhd and RISDA to develop a high-end low-density condominium Impression U-Thant in the heart of Kuala Lumpur.  

The Impression U-Thant, which will be officially known as “Residensi Mutiara U-Thant” later has a gross development value of RM200mil and it will be Yong Tai’s foray into high-end development

According to Yong Tai, which is a tourism and cultural property developer, the 1.2-acre freehold Impression U-Thant comprises 10-storey condominiums.

The built-up of the condominiums ranges from 782 sq ft to 1,632 sq ft for 108 units of six different types of layout priced from RM1.3mil.  The project is expected to be completed by 2021. 

The groundbreaking on Saturday was officiated by the Sultanah of Pahang, Sultanah Hajjah Kalsom. She was accompanied by Tengku Fahad Mua’adzam Shah Ibni Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah, who is KOF Holdings chairman.

Also present were Yong Tai chairman Datuk Indera Syed Norulzaman Syed Kamarulzaman, Deputy Director General of RISDA, Abdullah Zainal and the senior deputy director of the city planning department at Dewan Bandaraya Kuala Lumpur Puan Nor Fajariah Sulaiman, who represented the mayor.

RISDA is the land owner while KOF was given the rights to develop the site.

Yong Tai CEO Datuk Wira Boo Kuang Loon said there were more higher-end buyers who appreciated living within a low-density green enclave while at the same time seeking the exclusivity.

Impression U-Thant’s key features are its innovative architectural design, dual-key features and amenities.

The project is located along Jalan U-Thant overseeing the Royal Selangor Golf Club and near the embassy row. It is well connected to major city roads including Jalan Tun Razak.
