Financial Group Bhd has declared a special dividend of 15.97 sen per share totaling about RM45.8mil.
It said on Friday the special dividend was based on its audited consolidated net asset as at Dec 31, 2017 of RM145.6mil and including the expected gain of RM3.3mil from sale of its buildings.
The payment of the special dividend will result in its audited consolidated net assets as at Dec 31, 2017 to be adjusted to about 36 sen per share.
Recall that it was selling its non-core assets, comprising part of Bangunan ECM Libra, and a semi-detached residential property for RM28mil.
