MMC, Penang Port vendor to extend deal talks


PETALING JAYA: MMC Corp Bhd and the vendor of Penang Port Sdn Bhd have mutually agreed to further extend the period to satisfy, or waive, the conditions precedent in the sale and purchase of the operator of Penang Port.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, MMC Corp said vendor Seaport Terminal (Johore) Sdn Bhd has agreed to extend the sales and purchase agreement up to and including July 9, 2018.
