Rahim: Japanese principals not in favour of UMW’s move on Perodua

PETALING JAYA: The Japanese partner of Perusahaan Otomobil Kedua Sdn Bhd (Perodua) is said to be not in favour of UMW Holdings Bhd holding an overwhelming stake in the local automobile group.

This was disclosed by MBM Resources Bhd chairman Datuk Abdul Rahim Abdul Halim who said he sighted a letter from the Japanese principals with their opinion on the ongoing corporate developments in Perodua.
