KUALA LUMPUR: Felda Global Ventures Holdings Bhd (FGV) is enhancing its ‘No Deforestation, No Peat and No Exploitation (NDPE)’ Policy as a commitment to sustainable development, effective yesterday.
In a statement yesterday, group president/chief executive officer, Datuk Zakaria Arshad, said this would involve all matters pertaining to social equity, rights of local peoples to economic betterment and workers’ rights to a safe work environment, who would be accorded benefits commensurate with the requirements of the law.
