PETALING JAYA: The local bourse staged a technical rebound yesterday after having been oversold, in line with the performance of Asian markets after US markets recovered from a weak Wednesday opening.
Asian markets fell on Wednesday, with the local bourse’s benchmark FBM KLCI closing 1.88%, or 34.84 points, lower but regional markets recovered yesterday, with the FBM KLCI closing 1.11% higher to 1,836.13, with 2.22 billion shares worth some RM2.02bil changing hands.
