TH Properties still looking at investing in Jakarta


Temporary anti-dumping measures on ethanolamine products produced in the Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Thailand and the United States is also being introduced.

SEREMBAN: TH Properties Sdn Bhd is still in the process of looking at investing in real estate in Jakarta, Indonesia, said Group Managing Director, Datuk Roszali Othman.

He said the company had targeted Jakarta after Sydney, Australia, for the overseas market due to the city's population of 18 million.

"We are looking at Jakarta next. We are also in the midst of undertaking the study of a location in Jakarta and will inform the Board of Directors with regards to approval for investment."

"I expect that by end-May we will know if the investment there will be take place or otherwise," he told the media after attending the Karnival Ceria at Warisan Puteri 2, near here.

Also present was TH Properties Chairman, Datuk Mohzani Abdul Wahab.

Roszali said the overseas market contributed about 60 per cent to the company's income for last year. - Bernama
