BEIJING: Chinese banks are set to quicken the pace of bad loan disposals this year, likely raising more capital and taking advantage of relaxed provisioning rules as they look to lift what is expected to be a modest year of earnings growth in 2017.
Among those due to report annual earnings next week are Industrial and Commercial Bank of China, China Construction Bank, Agricultural Bank of China (AgBank) and Bank of China (BoC).
