PETALING JAYA: Earthworks and civil engineering services specialist Advancecon Holdings Bhd has bagged an award worth RM370.1mil from West Coast Expressway Sdn Bhd for works on Section 7 of the West Coast Expressway (WCE).
In a statement yesterday, Advancecon said the award marks the single largest contract to date for the group, adding that the works will be carried out from the Assam Jawa Interchange to Tanjung Karang Interchange (part one of two).
“The contract, awarded from West Coast Expressway Sdn Bhd, entails Advancecon undertaking earthworks, ground treatment works, drainage and box culverts, pavements, bridges, road furniture (except road marking, road signages and guardrails), utilities and services, erosion sediment and control plan, as well as environmental protection and enhancement.”
“The estimated contract duration is 30 months from the date of site possession,” said Advancecon.
The latest contract is Advancecon’s second works contract for WCE, having obtained the RM239.8mil contract in December 2016 to undertake earthworks and civil works for the WCE Interchange from Section 1 - Banting Interchange to South Klang Valley Expressway.
