The Dow Jones industrial average rose 116.36 points to close at 24,727.27 while the S&P 500 gained 0.2% to end at 2,716.94.
Similarly, European stock climbed with investors expecting a rate hike by the Fed.
“Following the positive performance in the US and Europe, the FBM KLCI could follow suit and extend its surge towards the resistance of 1,880 points,” JF Apex said.
