KUALA LUMPUR: Lars-Ake Valdemar Norling has tendered his resignation as chair of the board in the Telenor Group.

In a filing to Bursa Malaysia today, DiGi.com Bhd said, consequently, he would relinquish his position as the chair of the remuneration committee when a suitable candidate was identified.

“An announcement will be made once a suitable candidate has been identified,” it said.

In July last year, DiGi has redesignated Norling as its new Chairman, replacing Morten Karlsen Sorby following organisational changes in Telenor. - Bernama
