Marine & General receive supply vessel contracts from ExxonMobil


Temporary anti-dumping measures on ethanolamine products produced in the Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Thailand and the United States is also being introduced.

KUALA LUMPUR: Marine & General Bhd via its unit Jasa Merin (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd has received two contracts from  ExxonMobil Exploration and Production Malaysia Inc for the provision of two straight supply vessels for the latter's operations.

The contracts will commence in early and end March respectively for a duration of four months with an option to extend.

According to Marine & General, the risk factors are mainly operational risks such as accidents and unexpected breakdown of the vessels. 

"The contracts, estimated to have a value of approximately RM 7.3 million for the primary term, is expected to contribute positively to the earnings of the Group for the financial period ending 31 December 2018," it said.
