Scientex shares rise on Klang Hock Plastic acquisition


KUALA LUMPUR: Shares in Scientex Bhd rose 2% in early trade Monday, boosted by its acquisition of Klang Hock Plastic Industries Sdn Bhd for RM190mil cash.

The company saw its shares rose 2.65%, or 23 sen to RM8.90, its highest since end-January. It is currently the second top gainer today and is trading at a PE of 14.84 times.
