Half-day Bursa trading on Thursday

Bursa Malaysia asked the company to disclose any corporate developments in the company including those at negotiation level. It must also divulge

KUALA LUMPUR: Trading on Bursa Malaysia will be opened for the morning session only on Thursday, which is the eve of Chinese New Year (CNY).

The stock exchange said yesterday there will be no trading in the afternoon session.

It will also be closed on Friday for CNY celebration and resume operations on Feb 19.

However, clearing and settlement services provided by Bursa Malaysia Securities Clearing; depository services provided by Bursa Malaysia Depository; and clearing and settlement operations of Bursa Malaysia Derivatives Bhd will continue as usual on Thursday.

The office of Bursa Malaysia Securities will remain open until the end of business day.
