EC awards Sandakan power plant project

KUALA LUMPUR: Ranhill Holdings Bhd said a consortium of companies, in which its subsidiary is a partner, had received a conditional letter of offer (CLOA) from the Energy Commission (EC) to develop an electricity power plant in Sandakan, Sabah.

The CLOA is a the development of a 300MW combined cycle gas turbine plant, the company said in a filing with Bursa Malaysia.
