KUALA LUMPUR: The Securities Commission (SC) will collaborate with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) to set up a cross-border stock market trading link between Bursa Malaysia and Singapore Exchange Ltd (SGX) by the end of this year.
The initiative will provide investors on both sides of the causeway with easier access to each other’s equity markets that come with a combined market capitalisation of more than US$1.2 trillion and 1,600 public-listed companies.
