Salcon subsidiary secures RM18.95m housing project


In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Country View said that the acquisition

KUALA LUMPUR: Salcon Bhd's subsidiary has secured a RM18.95mil contract from China State Construction Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd to undertake a RM18.95mil housing project in Segambut here.

It said on Tuesday its 60% owned Envitech Sdn Bhd would build a 53-storey block and a 55-storey block of apartments.

Salcon said the contract was for 20 months.  Evintech will be  be advised by China State Construction Engineering (M) Sdn Bhd on when work will start.

Aside from construction, Salcon's core business is operating and maintaining water and wastewater treatment plants.
