Forex reserves rise to US$103bil


The forex reserves are sufficient to finance 7.1 months of retained imports and are 1.1 times the short-term external debt, Bank Negara said .

PETALING JAYA: Bank Negara’s international reserves rose to US$103bil as at Jan 15, 2018 from US$102.4bil on Dec 29, 2017.

The forex reserves are sufficient to finance 7.1 months of retained imports and are 1.1 times the short-term external debt, Bank Negara said in a statement.
