PETALING JAYA: Volatility continues to grip bitcoin, with the largest cryptocurrency falling below the psychological US$10,000, as of press time on Wednesday night after a decline of more than 20% on Tuesday.

With indicators all still in negative territory, the technical charts indicate scope for a drop close to the US$8,000 level.
