KUALA LUMPUR: Loan growth for the banking sector is estimated to grow 4% to 5% in 2018, said CIMB Group
CEO Tengku Datuk Seri Zafrul Aziz Abdul Aziz.
Speaking at a media briefing in conjunction with the 10th CIMB Malaysia Corporate Day 2018, Zafrul said the gross domestic product (GDP) growth in 2017 was above expectations, which translates to a stronger loan growth this year.
