KUALA LUMPUR: T7 Global Bhd, formerly Tanjung Offshore Services Bhd, has secured several oil and gas services contracts, totalling RM260mil since August 2017.
The upstream and downstream O&G service provider in Malaysia said on Tuesday it received a service order from Malaysia Marine And Heavy Engineering Sdn Bhd to undertake insulation work for RAPID Package 14 Project.
It had also on Nov 9 bagged a contract from Repsol Oil & Gas Malaysia to provide blasting and painting services for an initial two years, with an extension option of one year; from November 2017 until October 2019.
Repsol also awarded two more contracts to T7 Global's subsidiary Wenmax Sdn Bhd on Dec 7. The four plus four year contract was to supply carbon dioxide gas separation membrane elements and consumables. It would secured a one-off supply contract on Dec 11, to provide MRU absorbent materials for a gas MRU field trial.
Wenmax, had on Sept 13, received a purchase order from Sabah Shell Petroleum Co. Ltd. This is a partial order from a five plus one year contract to supply single buoy mooring hoses until 2019.
Wenmax also received a contract from Petronas Technical Services Sdn Bhd on Aug 14 to undertake the engineering, procurement, fabrication and commissioning of a crude transfer metering system (CTMS) package for Pengerang Deepwater Terminal 2.
T7 Global chairman Datuk Seri Dr Nik Norzul Thani N. Hassan Thani said the contracts demonstrated the strength of the group's expertise and capabilities in Malaysia.
“These contracts represent a testament to the strong partnerships we have with the three parties. We are making good progress in replenishing our work orders.
“We are reasonably optimistic of building up our order book and are actively bidding for projects,” he said.
