Govt to pay RM60mil if passenger service charges not equalised


The subsidies should be better used for the benefit of the rakyat, Jen (Rtd) Tan Sri Abdullah Ahmad, executive chairman of the Malaysian Aviation Commission (Mavcom), said in an interview.

KUALA LUMPUR: The government will be forced to fork out RM60mil in subsidies if the passenger service charges (PSC) for long-haul international flights between KLIA and KLIA2 are not equalised.

The subsidies should be better used for the benefit of the rakyat, Jen (Rtd) Tan Sri Abdullah Ahmad, executive chairman of the Malaysian Aviation Commission (Mavcom), said in an interview.
