Penang water users getting special rebate

PETALING JAYA: The Penang state government has approved PBA Holdings Bhd’s unit Perbadanan Bekalan Air Pulau Pinang Sdn Bhd’s (PBAPP) application to reduce the latter’s water intake fee from the rate of six sen per cu m to three sen per cu m based on the annual actual production volume for 2018.

This comes after the Penang state government’s announcement for PBAPP to give water rebates for two months to reduce the burden caused by the major floods that had occurred in Penang in early November.
