Bintulu Port issues letter of acceptance for RM8.17mil contract


Temporary anti-dumping measures on ethanolamine products produced in the Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Thailand and the United States is also being introduced.

KUALA LUMPUR: Bintulu Port Holdings has issued a letter of acceptance to Portrade International Sdn Bhd for a contract worth RM8.17mil.

In a filing with Bursa Malaysia, Bintulu Port said the contract was for the supply, delivery, installation, testing, commissioning and maintenance of financial system for the group. 

It said the contract consists supply, delivery, installation, testing and commissioning of financial system worth RM6.55mil for 12 months while maintenance of the system for five years worth RM1.62mil.

The rate of 0.0219% of the contract sum per day shall be imposed as liquidated and ascertained damages for non-performance of the works.
