PETALING JAYA: Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) expects its 2017 full-year earnings to exceed what it made in 2016, as the national oil company has reported a 64% jump in profit after tax (PAT) in the third quarter ended Sept 30 to RM10bil.

The surge in profit was fuelled by the rising price of crude oil in the international market.
