Grand Hoover gets enquiries for stake, joint ventures


Temporary anti-dumping measures on ethanolamine products produced in the Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Thailand and the United States is also being introduced.

KUALA LUMPUR: Grand Hoover Bhd's major shareholder and directors have been approached by a few parties which are keen to acquire a substantial stake.

The company, which requested for a trading halt on Thursday at 4.18pm, said these parties were also seeking to explore any possible joint venture with the company on certain business opportunities. 

“However, the discussions with the various parties are still preliminary at this juncture and no agreements and/or conclusions have been made insofar on the discussions,” said Grand Hoover which is involved in property and construction.

Shares hit limit-up, surging the maximum 30 sen to 92 sen, prompting Bursa Malaysia Securities to query the company.
