Lay Hong edges up on strong earnings


KUALA LUMPUR: Shares of Lay Hong Bhd got a boost, edging up 3.5% in early trade Wednesday after its strong second-quarter earnings.

The Egg and poultry producer saw its share price rose 3.52%, or 3.5 sen to RM1.03 with over 3.6 million shares traded. Lay Hong-WA rose 6%, or 4.5 sen to 79 sen.
