Hedge fund seeks meeting to oust LSE chairman

LONDON: London Stock Exchange Group Plc (LSE) investor TCI Fund Management Ltd, the London-based hedge fund, demanded a shareholder meeting to remove the bourse’s chairman, Donald Brydon, in an escalating dispute over the departure of chief executive officer Xavier Rolet.

TCI, which has accused the LSE of forcing Rolet’s departure next year, also wants the stock exchange to terminate its search for a new chief, according to a letter sent on Thursday and signed by Christopher Hohn, the hedge fund’s CEO.
