KUALA LUMPUR: Bank Negara’s international reserves amounted to US$101.5bil (RM428.9bil) as at Oct 31, 2017 compared with US$101.4bil (RM428.7bil) registered as at Oct 13, 2017 and US$101.2bil (RM427.7bil) as at Sept 29, 2017.
“The reserves position is sufficient to finance 7.6 months of retained imports and is 1.1 times the short-term external debt,” said the central bank in a statement yesterday
