Analysts say Digi likely to see subdued earnings

WIder network: The 800MHz, along with Digi's existing 1,800MHz and 2,600MHz spectrums will enable it to better serve customers who are increasingly consuming video content.

PETALING JAYA: DiGi.com Bhd is expected to see subdued earnings in the near-term due to tight competition in the pre-paid segment and a highly competitive landscape, according to analysts.

In a research report, AmInvestment Bank said it expected Digi’s subscriber growth and average revenue per user (arpu) to remain under pressure as both Maxis and Celcom were also aggressively improving 4G coverage and service quality.
