Epson Malaysia targets 70% of ink tank printers market

New high for Dagang NeXchange Bhd

SUBANG JAYA: Epson Malaysia Sdn Bhd aims to capture 70% of the ink tank printers market by the end of its financial year in March 2018.

Its general manager, sales and marketing division, Danny Lee Cheng Heong, said on Wednesday the ink tank system made up 27% of the entire inkjet printer market which comprised ink tank system and ink cartridge system.

"The ink tank printers had been the focus of Epson, which currently dominates about 60% of the market share with our L-series models.

"With the launch of our new models of the L-series integrated ink tank printers today, we hope to spur the market share to 70% soon," he said.

Lee was speaking to reporters at the launch of its new L-series and Epson's Enterprise WorkForce series here on Wednesday.
