KUALA LUMPUR: Salcon, Kerjaya Prospek, Jaycorp and T7 Global
are among the stocks which could see trading interest on Tuesday, says JF Apex Research.
Salcon bagged a RM13.27mil contract from Pengurusan Air Selangor Sdn Bhd to replace the pipes in the Klang Valley area, covering Klang, Sabak Bernam, Kuala Selangor and Petaling Jaya;
As for Kerjaya Prospek, it won a RM291mil contract for the construction works in Bangsar, which is related to a proposed residential development project known as "The Estate";
Jaycorp’s unit Jaycorp Engineering and Construction Sdn Bhd secured a RM12.6mil contract to build the one-storey Azman Hashim Gallery and Auditorium at Universiti Malaysia Sabah in Kota Kinabalu.
JF Apex Research pointed out T7 Global’s investment in Triangle Energy Global Ltd has paid off after it hit oil in the coastal Xanadu-1 well in the Perth Basin.
T7 Global’s subsidiary has bagged two contracts worth RM7.2mil from Petroliam Nasional Bhd (Petronas) and the MMC-Gamuda KVMRT joint-venture.
Overnight on Wall Street, the Dow extended its record high for a 5th straight day. European stocks also advanced also geopolitical concerns eased. Investors will pay attention to the US Federal Reserve's 2-day meeting starting today.
At Bursa, the FBM KLCI lost 2.67 points to end at 1,783.66.
JF Apex Research said following the bullish performance in the US and Europe, the KLCI could climb towards its resistance of 1,800.
