Straits Inter Logistics picks Ho Kam Choy as new MD


PETALING JAYA: Datuk Seri Ho Kam Choy, 54, has been redesignated as managing director of Straits Inter Logistics Bhd, from his previous position of executive director. 

He replaces Datuk Tan Seng Hu, 41, who has resigned due to other business commitments. 

Ho has vast experience in the commercial management of vessels in the shipping industry. He is also a director for RH Pacific Shipping Agencies Ltd. Hong Kong since 1991, a company involved in shipping and transportation of bulk/bagged cargo and shipping.

Ho is also a director of TMD Bunker Labuan Sdn Bhd, a 50% subsidiary of Tumpuan Megah Development Sdn Bhd. TMD had on Dec 29, 2015, entered into a collaboration agreement with Selatan Bunker (M) Sdn Bhd, a 51% subsidiary of Raya International Bhd (now known as Straits).

On Nov 14 2016, Straits had also entered into a Memorandum of Agreement with Sturgeon Asia Ltd and Straits Holdings Ltd respectively in which Ho is also a director and shareholder.
